Emotional and practical problems in daily life and relationships are usually reflected in less frequent and a more superficial sexuality. Tantra offers crucial keys to unlock, unfold, grow and retain a deeper quality of love and a more ecstatic sexuality. Is it possible to keep the flame of love and desire glowing as a relationship grows out of its early stages and becomes more settled? Is it possible to consciously create and maintain a condition of solidarity, love and intimacy in a relationship? This retreat gives you tools to do just this.
In a warm, accepting and supportive atmosphere, you learn to connect with yourself and with life more consciously, more intimately and more lovingly, and in so doing, connect equally consciously, intimately and lovingly with your partner.
Methods
Working with variety of elements from Tantra, we include awareness bodywork, tantric breath work, movement, role play and experiential exercises that assist with understanding male and female energy. Saturday evening is dedicated to a beautiful tantric ritual, the elements of which give you the basics for your own rituals at home. All the elements of the retreat support your growth of conscious awareness - emotionally, spiritually, as well as sexually. Our work is gentle, respectful and suportive and includes laughter and a lot of fun.
Group size
4 - 8 couples plus 2 facilitators.
Venue
Situated on top of the mountain in the beautiful Olifiershoek Pass area of the Northern Drakensberg, the Drakensberg Mountain Retreat is a perfect venue for this kind of retreat. The view is stunning and we have a large room with a fire place to work in. The dining area also has a fire place. The venue has 5 ensuite double rooms and three double rooms sharing bathrooms.
Costs
The total cost of the retreat is made up of the facilitation fee and the venue fee.
Facilitation fee sliding scale: R 1200 - R 1700 per person.
The sliding scale gives you the opportunity of choosing a price suitable to your pocket in relation to what the retreat is worth to you. Please choose honestly and consider what else you spend your money on. Sometimes it is necessary to prioritise and save on something not lasting (like a new outfit), in order to particicipate in a retreat such as this one, which will give you inspiration and ideas which you take home with you and which can have a lasting, positive effect on your relationship and your life.
Venue Fee: R 900 per person for two nights sharing in en-suite rooms and R 800 in rooms sharing bathrooms including meals.
Drakensberg Mountain Retreat is approx. 4 hrs from Durban (via Bergville) and 3 hrs from Johannesburg (via Harrismith) and Bloemfontein (via Clarens)
It has 5 double en-suite rooms, 4 dorms sharing bathrooms which we will use a double rooms
Total Cost for retreat: R 2000 - R2600 including all means depending on what you choose on the sliding scale and which accommodation you book.

General information
- The retreat is 2 nights residential. Begin: Friday 7pm with supper; End Sunday 2 pm after lunch.
- Meals are vegetarian. For non-vegetarians, chicken / fish is searved on request.
- Couples work together throughout the retreat.
- You do not have to be in a relationship to participate - bring a good friend to partner up with and learn how to relate to each other from a friendship aspect with input for future love relationships.
- This retreat is also ideal for newly formed couples or those thinking about going into a relationship.
- Nudity is not required. Personal boundaries are always respected.
