The most feminine part of a woman is mysterious and hidden, soft, receptive and embracing. It is often a place in which we store deep wounds that create tension, numbness and hardening. The seed of a woman's senuality is in her heart. The journey for a woman is to come to know herself in order to develop and grow heart-centered interactions with others in all spheres of life, particularly in special and intmate relationships.

This one-and-a half day retreat will provide you with a gentle, supportive and safe environment to heal issues around the body and femininity, revealing and transforming fears and conditioning, so that we may return to the beauty and innocence inherent in our sensual nature.
Using visual creativity as an expressive therapeutic form, we look at limiting conditioning of our upbringing, education, religious orientation and life's experiences, in order to melt these down as we light our personal inner tantric fire to be who we are - more fully, deeply and truthfully. In doing so, we are able expand and stretch ourselves, empower each other and allow for new experiences while learning to maintain healthy boundaries. The result is less fear of intimacy as intimacy becomes safer when we learn to set healthy boundaries. In this we seek solid, sustainable growth.

Method - Art Therapy
We work with a form of Art Therapy using various materials in collage technique (scrapbooking style) and create a Healing Treasure Box that symbolises both our inner and outer worlds - Inside-Out and Outside-In. We focus on a variety of women's themes and issues including your female role in society and relationships, healing the inner male and female and female sensuality. In addition you'll learn the tantric breath technique and some fun tantric yoga exercises. In addition you will be introduced to how Tantra perceives the feminine. No prior experience is necessary. A gentle and supportive environment, provides a nurturing atmosphere. At the same time, the work provides lots of fun in which we laugh and celebrate together.
Materials to bring with you: a shoe box, magazine cuttings (a variety of images of different themes that you feel attracted to in one way or another), tissue and othe paper in different colours, ribbons, sequens, glitter and various items that you could use in a collage. Small objects that you would like to place in your Treasure Box (e.g. shells, stones, crystals, photos, trinkets etc.)
Venue: Pennington, Durban South Coast
We will work in my house in Pennington where I have space and the materials for art work. Accommodation is in a beautiful Guest House across the road. It has a 180 degree panorama view of the sea a large pool deck and a jacuzzi. The cost is R 180 p.p sharing per night in a 3-bedroom self catering unit. Each room has a private bathroom, a fridge, kettle, tea & coffee. The unit also has a communal kitchen. Single rooms also available. Bookings and payment for the accommodation will be directly with the B & B. Bring your own breakfast and supper for Friday night. Speak to Leandra if you want her to get you something or prepare you something.

Facilitation Fee
Sliding scale: R 600 - R 800 p.p. including Saturday supper.
Please decide what suits your pocket and what the workshop is worth to you. Consider what you would spend money on - a new outfit is not as lasting as a rewardable workshop giving you new input for your life. Child care is available on request. Please speak to Leandra about it. Cost R 80 - R 100 per child for the whole workshop.
